Position: STOCK CONTROLLER

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 18:00pm – 06:00am

Salary: £28,000 per year

Based:
Chesterfield, East Midlands

Currently based in Alfreton DE55 4QX

Relocating to brand-new East Midlands site at S44 6AE
in July 2026

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all warehouse areas.
  • Perform regular cycle counts, spot checks, and full stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in collaboration with the warehouse team.
  • Record all stock movements in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
  • Liaise with purchasing and planning teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Support warehouse operatives with stock-related queries and provide guidance on stock handling procedures.
  • Assist in developing and improving stock control procedures and processes.
  • Generate and analyse inventory reports and present data to management as required.
  • Ensure all stock is stored safely, correctly labelled, and in line with company standards.
  • Highlight and elevate stock issues such as shortages, overstocking, or expired products.
