Stock Checker
Location:
Holmewood
Pay Rate: £12.71-£13.33 per hour, depending on experience (subject to confirmation)
Shift Pattern:
Rotating AM and PM shifts
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Stock Checker to join our warehouse team in Holmewood.
The ideal candidate will have previous stock-checking experience, a strong understanding of stock control procedures, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records in a busy warehouse environment.
Working Hours
The shifts rotate between:
AM shift: 06:00-14:00
PM shift: 14:00-22:00
Candidates must be flexible and willing to rotate between AM and PM shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out regular stock checks and inventory counts.
Maintain accurate stock records and ensure stock accuracy.
Investigate discrepancies and report stock differences.
Use warehouse systems to record and update stock movements.
Support daily warehouse and stock control operations.
Operate warehouse equipment safely when required.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Previous stock-checking experience is essential.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience using warehouse stock control systems.
A reliable, proactive, and flexible attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to work in a cold-store environment at temperatures as low as
-20°C.
A valid Reach Truck Licence is desirable but not essential.
Cold-Store Environment and PPE
Candidates must be comfortable working in a cold-store environment where temperatures can reach
-20°C.
All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including a thermal jacket, trousers, and safety footwear, will be provided.
