Essential Functions- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures from defined protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging exams.
- Collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic information.
- Use a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.
- Ensure equipment is in working order, report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
- Enter procedures on the superbill.
- Complete pending radiologic procedures.
- Import and burn CDs as needed for physicians and patients.
- Maintain examination rooms by stocking necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
- Escort patients to and from waiting rooms and exam rooms.
- Attend meetings and seminars as needed.
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Knowledge of radiology equipment, including safety hazards.
Work is performed in a clinical environment. It involves exposure to radiation and frequent contact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare personnel. The work may be fast‑paced eraction with others is constant and interruptive. It is possible the work may involve interaction with injured or sick patients.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Minimum of 1 year experience in X-ray, but will consider a new graduate.
Minimum Education Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- AART Certification.
- Current state license.
- CE compliant.
- Proper positioning of patients.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to identify equipment problems and correct if possible; notify supervisor.
- Ability to analyze situations and develop solutions.
- Ethical reasoning and decision‑making.
- Time management, prioritization, and sense of urgency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods, work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, and to work both day/evening shifts. The job may require hand dexterity, the ability to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
