CNC Precision Machinist

Urschel, a 100% employee‑owned company, is seeking a CNC Precision Machinist for our second‑shift operations in the Drilling Department. This full‑time position runs Monday through Thursday, with potential Friday work based on workloads.

Job Summary

This role involves operating CNC equipment and hand tools to machine features in various materials, editing CNC programs as needed, and documenting all changes. It requires strong math skills, blueprint reading, precision measuring, and troubleshooting abilities.

Pay & Shift Premium

Starting pay is $31.81 per hour plus a 5% shift premium.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Machine features in all types of material using CNC equipment and hand tools.
  • Understand CNC program codes and programs, edit programs when necessary, and record all changes for documentation.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of machining experience.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Blueprint reading proficiency.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
  • Solid organizational and troubleshooting talents.
