Joining H&R Block as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful.

• Inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money; build client relationships that will grow stronger every year
• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

• Participation in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns; ability to handle complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) as applicable
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools (video, phone and chat)
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS/state requirements

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted to provide applicants with information about potential earnings. Individual pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location.
