All Shifts Available
- 1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- 2nd Shift - 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
The Dixon Group is looking for a Machine Operator to join our skilled manufacturing team in Chestertown, MD. In this hands‑on role, you’ll operate and maintain specialized machinery to produce high‑quality parts that power the agricultural industry. You’ll work with hydraulic presses, marking devices, and threading equipment to assemble precision components— and we’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Experience in welding & plasma cutting is a strong plus.

You'll Do
- Set up and load material into equipment
- Operate specialized equipment safely, efficiently and precisely
- Monitor machine performance
- Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency
- Identify and isolate defective parts
- Perform basic troubleshooting of machine issues
- Record production data
- Adhere to safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or related coursework preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and work independently
- Reliable, team‑oriented mindset with excellent time management
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Previous machine operation experience is a plus—but not required!
