Join our team as a Part Time Maintenance/Production Supervisor with a reputable manufacturing company based in Chestertown, MD. This position involves maintaining manufacturing machinery as well as supervising production operations for their overnight weekend team on Fridays and Saturday evenings.

The ideal candidate for the Part Time Production Lead/ Maintenance Tech position will have a thorough knowledge of PLC or HMI run manufacturing equipment, possess troubleshooting and repair experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems, and demonstrate leadership capability to manage personnel and plant production operations during off-shift hours.

Part Time- 3rd shift Fridays & Saturday evenings 11pm-7:15am

Pay Rate: 30-34/hr + $2 shift differential

Full benefits and 401k after a probationary period

Job Responsibilities & Description for the Part Time Production Lead/ Maintenance Tech:

Diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment using specialized experience in electrical and PLC-controlled equipment

Assist in maintaining and minor troubleshooting of building systems including HVAC, vacuum systems, dust collection systems, dehumidifier units, air compressors, furnaces, lighting, etc.

Oversee production operations during assigned shift to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

Ensure staffing levels are adequate and manage attendance for all personnel on shift.

Approve employee time off and vacation requests in accordance with company policy.

Coordinates production priorities and communicates effectively with other shifts and management.

Job Requirements for the Part Time Production Lead/ Maintenance Tech:

Must have a thorough knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery.

Must possess demonstrated leadership ability with solid communication and communication skills required to oversee personnel

Must have hands-on experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance environment with solid troubleshooting ability related to electrical machine maintenance and modification

Experience in working with building systems including plumbing and HVAC systems preferred

EPA certification is preferred, but not required
