• Coordinateandcompletetheresidentassessmentprocess(MDS/RAI) inaccordancewithfederalandstateregulations.
• EnsureaccurateandtimelycompletionofallMDSassessmentsandsupportingdocumentation.
• Maintaincompliancewith Medicare,Medicaid,OBRA,andotherapplicablepayerrequirements.
• Workwithinterdisciplinaryteammemberstodevelopandmaintaincomprehensiveresidentcareplans.
• Performconcurrentreviewsandcommunicatewithinsuranceprovidersandotherstakeholderstoobtainandmaintainskilledcareauthorization.
• Monitor Quality Measures (QM) and Quality
  
  Indicators(QI),identify trends,andassistwithperformanceimprovementinitiatives.
• MaintainandupdatepoliciesandproceduresrelatedtotheMDSandRAIprocess.
• Participateinstatesurveysandregulatoryinspections,providingdocumentationandsupportasneeded.
• StaycurrentonregulatorychangesandensureongoingcompliancewithMDSguidelinesandbestpractices.

• CurrentRNorLPNlicenseinthe Stateof Maryland .
• RNACorLPNACcertificationpreferred,orrelevantMDSexperience.
• StrongknowledgeoftheMDS
  3.0process,RAIManual,Medicare,Medicaid,andOBRAregulations(preferred)
• Excellent organizational,communication,andcriticalthinkingskills.
• Previousexperienceinaskillednursingorlong-termcaresetting(preferred).
