The Shoe Operating Assistant supports the customer experience and department operations in the shoe department. This player-coach role partners with the Business Manager and leadership to guide associates, manage stock, and support selling-floor initiatives.
Responsibilities- Lead customer experience initiatives and help associates maintain standards in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
- Support stockroom organization, multiple-unit selling, and business-driving initiatives.
- Manage job-outs, mismates, damages, repairs, markdowns, and other stock processes.
- Communicate workload progress and support workload planning and store initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Strong communication, customer engagement, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, use technology and register equipment, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, dependable attendance, and ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
