Advanced Clinical Dental Hygienist – Periodontics (Boutique Specialty Practice)

This is not a traditional dental hygiene position.

We are seeking an exceptional, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to step into an advanced clinical role within a boutique, fee‑for‑service periodontal practice in Chevy Chase, MD.

In this role, you will work side‑by‑side with a board‑certified periodontist, participating in consultations, treatment planning, surgical support, and comprehensive case management. This position is ideal for a hygienist who is intellectually curious, clinically driven, and eager to practice at the top of their license in a specialty setting.

• No traditional prophy schedule
• High‑level patient consultations and education

• Conduct comprehensive new‑patient consultations, including medical history review and periodontal assessments
• Educate patients on periodontal disease, treatment options, and post‑operative care with clarity and confidence
• Assist the periodontist with treatment planning and maintain meticulous case documentation
• Administer local anesthesia and provide clinical support during surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with the periodontist and team to deliver exceptional, concierge‑level patient care

• Registered Dental Hygienist (MD‑licensed or eligible)
• Strong interest in periodontics, surgery, and advanced clinical care
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and build patient trust
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with case‑based workflows

• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Thursday (4 days/week), 7:45 AM – 5:30 PM
