The Department of Dermatology at Med Star Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Dermatologist to join our team.
The successful applicant will join an established group of dermatologists located in Washington, DC and Chevy Chase, MD. This individual is expected to support our mission to grow and expand the practice through both inside growth as well as outreach to the community, participate in marketing and community education efforts for the Department of Dermatology, cultivate and maintain professional relationships with referring in-house and community physicians, and provide excellent patient care.
The Department of Dermatology provides a comprehensive range of clinical services for the diagnosis and management of skin, scalp and nail disorders, as well as an outstanding inpatient consult service. We provide in-house Mohs surgery and dermatopathology services, comprehensive patch testing, phototherapy, and a variety of cosmetic services. The department's physicians are all board-certified in dermatology, and their clinical interests include complex medical dermatology, cutaneous oncology, dermatopathology, Mohs surgery, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology.
This position also provides the right candidate opportunities to build a successful career in medical education, if desired, at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
