Immediate:
Teacher, Physical Education, Rock Creek Forest Elementary School, 0.2 FTE – Montgomery County Public Schools. Under the direction of the school principal, plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for students. Creates an environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to support Success for Every Student. Supervises students in a variety of school settings and communicates with students, parents, staff and community.

• Develop, select and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students.
• Provide instruction that reflects multiple perspectives and multicultural education.
• Monitor and evaluate student outcomes and maintain appropriate records following required procedures and practices.
• Maintain proper use and care of equipment, materials and facilities.
• Collaborate with administrators, colleagues, central office staff, students, parents and the community to support student success.
• Attend school meetings, programs and activities outside the instructional day as mandated.

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of education from an accredited college or university.
• Certificate:
  Meets Maryland state certification requirements in the appropriate field of education.
• Knowledge of MCPS curriculum, instructional practices, and policies.
• Ability to infuse technology into curriculum and to work effectively with administrators, colleagues, students, parents and community.
• Excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills.
