Immediate opening, 1.0 FTE, Full‑time, Day Job.

Under the direction of the school principal, the teacher plans and provides appropriate learning experiences for students, ensuring an environment conducive to intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development. Supervises students in various settings, monitors outcomes, and communicates with students, parents, staff, and community. Develops, selects, and modifies instructional plans to meet diverse student needs, maintains records, ensures proper use and care of equipment and facilities.

Salary: $64,591 – $131,472, based on education and experience. Benefits information:

• Plan and provide learning experiences in line with MCPS curriculum.
• Create an environment that promotes intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development.
• Supervise students during various school-related activities.
• Assess student outcomes and adjust instruction as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with students, parents, staff, and community partners.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to required procedures.
• Ensure proper use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Attend school meetings, programs, and activities outside instructional time per MCEA agreement.

• Knowledge of MCPS curriculum, integration techniques, policies, and effective instructional practices.
• Understanding of the teaching/learning process.
• Ability to incorporate multiple perspectives and multicultural education into instruction.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into curriculum.
• Strong oral and written communication and human relations skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of education from an accredited institution.
• Maryland state certification meeting requirements in the relevant field of education.
