• Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
• Nursing skills including restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
• Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
• An interest in exotic veterinary medicine
• 4 ten-hour shifts with off day on Wednesday, rotating Saturday morning shifts
• Pay range of $28.00-$35.00+/hour based on experience.
