Security Officer

Congressional Country Club is seeking a responsible, composed, and accountable individual to serve as a Security Officer. The Security Officer will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of our members and guests.

• Greet incoming members and guests.
• Perform front desk duties: answer phones, take reservations, assist with membership, and direct guests.
• Operate the Windows-based computer system and switchboard.
• Conduct security patrols and routine equipment checks.
• Enforce access policy to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering clubhouse buildings.
• Observe for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Report medical emergencies, criminal activity, accidents, damage to property, and any incidents regarding security on club property.
• Assist local law enforcement and fire‑department personnel during incident responses.
• Administer CPR, First Aid, and use of defibrillators as trained.
• Lock and unlock the building, grant access to requested buildings/rooms, and distribute newspapers.
• Direct calls and guests to appropriate parties and keep informed of daily club activities, events, and changes.
• Communicate effectively via phone, email, and two‑way radio.

• High School or equivalent degree (required).
• CPR/AED certification (preferred).
• 1‑year customer service experience (preferred).
• 2‑year security experience (preferred).
• Flexible to work morning, day, and overnight shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
