Sittercity Incorporated is seeking a part-time afternoon caregiver/companion/driver for my 15-year-old son who has Spina Bifida. He is paralyzed from the hips down and uses a manual wheelchair. Caregiver must assist with transfers, toileting, showering, dressing, and daily bowel regimen.
Wound care and monitoring for skin breakdown are also required. There is a transfer board for wheelchair-to-car transfers; if your car cannot accommodate, we will use ours.
