Overview
This position provides administrative and case management support to the Wyoming Real Estate Commission and Certified Real Estate Appraiser Board. Working closely with the Senior Investigator, Commissioners, Board Members, agency attorneys, and the public, this position ensures all disciplinary case deadlines are met in compliance with federal and state requirements. As a small agency, staff perform a variety of duties.

Responsibilities- Receive and process verified complaints against licensees, appraisers, and Appraisal Management Companies (AMCS)
- Manage case dockets, calendars, and procedural deadlines
- Coordinate document production and compile docket materials
- Maintain organized records, indexes, and disciplinary documents
- Enter, verify, and audit data in the agency’s licensing system
- Assist with licensing for real estate professionals, appraisers, and AMCs
- Provide courteous and professional customer service via phone and email
- Provide administrative support to Commission and Board liaisons, the Fiscal Manager, and general office operations
- Experience in legal, regulatory, or case management support
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with database entry, Microsoft 365, and Google Products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service experience in a professional setting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
- Knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures
- Knowledge of state and federal court policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Wyoming Statutes and the Agency's mission goals, policies, and procedures
- Education
:
Bachelor’s Degree (Typically in Legal Studies/Paralegal) - Experience
: 0-1 year of progressive work experience in Legal Studies/Paralegal or 3-4 years of progressive work experience in Legal Studies/Paralegal - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

- This position requires the incumbent to perform desk work.
- This position involves occasional travel, both in-state and out-of-state.
