GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Wyoming State Treasurer's Office is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Compliance Analyst to join our team and support the organization's efforts to ensure adherence to Wyoming Statutes, Executive Orders, and Administrative Rules, with a focus on compliance and proxy voting obligations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following functions are illustrative and not exhaustive:
  • Assist in developing, distributing, and maintaining compliance documentation such as disclosure documents, gift logs, pre-trade clearance requests, travel logs, and manager attestations.
  • Develop and maintain compliance training materials; schedule training sessions; document attendance and feedback.
  • Monitor pre-trade (Bloomberg) and post-trade (JPMorgan) compliance reporting.
  • Inventory, review, edit, and create rules in Bloomberg; monitor rule changes in JPMorgan systems.
  • Assist in developing compliance and proxy voting reports; produce and maintain these reports.
  • Maintain lists of accounts in compliance and proxy voting systems, ensuring accounts are active and current.
  • Monitor proxy voting reports to ensure ballots are received, votes are scheduled, and policies are followed.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
PREFERENCES:
Preference given to candidates with excellent communication skills, the ability to interpret legal and compliance documents, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE:
  • Research and statistical methods.
  • Federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Data management and reporting systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Finance and investments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Finance)
Experience: 0-3 years in Statistics or related field
OR 4-6 years of relevant experience

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office environment with minimal lifting; some travel required.
