Position: MH - 139 Operations Technicians (contract)

Overview

MH - 139 Operations Technicians (contract) role s posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. This position is expected to be 100% onsite at FE Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Note: This is a contract position and requires an active U.S. Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).

Position Responsibilities
  • Mechanic, Avionics & Structures positions available
  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
  • Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
  • Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
  • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements
  • Works under general direction

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years  experience with Military aircraft maintenance
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft tools and test equipment (e.g., torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and shears)
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Experience with MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications
  • Experience with rotorcraft maintenance
  • Hold or held an Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) License
  • General Mechanic experience desirable
Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years  related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years  related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Pay Rate Range

Min Pay Rate 40 USD hourly
