Job OverviewA Field Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing day-to-day field tasks that will help with our internal documentation.
Job Responsibilities- Project Coordination:
Developing detailed project plans with field leaders, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all project activities align with established goals and timelines. - Documentation:
Maintaining accurate project records, Including daily logs, daily work plans, Progress reports (QTYS) from Field team and As-Built drawings. - Time entry: team member can support with accurate time entry of hours and QTY’s per task/activity/ Building/Phase ETC.
- Risk Management:
Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle. - Quality Assurance:
Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards through regular inspections and testing. FE will work closely with our Onsite QA/QC Manager to support with deliverables/ documentation. - Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders. - Scope Review:
Understanding of our scope of work and responsible subcontractors SOW. - Logging our Field Daily Reports at the end of each shift
- Cross Training With our PE team
- Development of weekly Progress report Percent Completes
- 2-3 years documented work in the commercial or industrial electrical fields
- Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction practices
- Ability to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders
- NEC /Code Compliance knowledge is a requirement
