Job Description

A Field Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing day to day field task that will help with our internal documentation.

Job Role s & Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination:
    Developing detailed project plans with field leaders, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all project activities align with established goals and timelines.
  • Documentation:
    Maintaining accurate project records, including daily logs, daily work plans, progress reports (QTYS) from field team and as-built drawings.
  • Time entry:
    Team member can support with accurate time entry of hours and QTY’s per task/activity/building/phase ETC.
  • Risk Management:

    Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards through regular inspections and testing. FE will work closely with our onsite QA/QC Manager to support with deliverables/documentation.
  • Communication:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Scope Review:
    Understanding of our scope of work and responsible subcontractors SOW.
  • Logging our field daily reports at the end of each shift.
  • Cross Training With our PE team.
  • Development of weekly progress report percent completes.
Job Qualifications
  • 2-3 years documented work in the commercial or industrial electrical fields.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction practices.
  • Ability to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • NEC /Code Compliance knowledge is a requirement.
