MEP Superintendent I | Mortenson
Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to review, provide analysis, manage, and resolve field coordination issues with project team members and participants. Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with staff at all levels in an ever‑changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with an elevated level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success.
Responsibilities- Provide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of work
- Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service
- Plan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule
- Review construction documents for completeness and constructability
- Review and understand contract documents
- Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies
- Participate in the development and management of project schedules, including three‑ and six‑week look‑ahead schedules
- Develop a site logistics plan
- Manage the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment
- Collaborate with project partner superintendents
- Associate or bachelor's degree in construction, civil, architectural, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering or 10 years trade experience
- Minimum 8 years of construction experience with two of those years being supervisory, preferably with a mechanical or electrical contractor
- Ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex data center projects
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level
- Positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Active listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback

Base pay range: $111,400 – $167,100. (Actual range higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%; Seattle, WA and Portland, OR – 10%; Washington, D.C. – 12.5%)
This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
