Position: Executive Director - Commission on Judicial Conducts & Ethics

The Wyoming Commission on Judicial Conduct & Ethics is seeking an Executive Director to lead and administer all aspects of its constitutionally established work (Article 5, Section 6, Wyoming Constitution).

This position serves as the central coordinator for the Commission’s volunteer members who serve in an oversight capacity. The Executive Director is responsible for coordinating Commission meetings, hearings, and activities. This includes managing case materials and coordinating logistics, preparing agendas, minutes, and follow‑up actions to ensure the Commission’s work continues efficiently and accurately, keeping projects and investigations on track.

The Executive Director will serve as the trusted point of contact for judges, attorneys, public officials, and members of the public. Each matter the Executive Director oversees will require a balance of neutrality, confidentiality, and fairness. This is an opportunity to stand at the intersection of law, ethics, and public service—protecting the integrity of Wyoming’s judiciary and ensuring public confidence in the courts.

ABOUT

THE COMMISSION

The Commission on Judicial Conduct & Ethics provides a means of discipline for Wyoming’s judicial officers, including censure, suspension, removal, retirement, or other appropriate action. Commission members serve voluntarily and are appointed by the Governor, the Wyoming State Bar, and the respective Judicial Conferences, to represent diverse perspectives within Wyoming’s public and legal community.
