Knife River is accepting applications for a Crusher Operator / Button Pusher to work in our Cheyenne, WY Aggregate Pit.
Responsibilities- Safely and productively operate the crusher to consistently produce aggregate products to predetermined specifications.
- Follow all Knife River, MSHA and OSHA policies and perform work safely.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all personnel.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to identify safety and maintenance issues.
- Preferred 2 years of experience or practical knowledge; willingness to train the right employee.
- Ability to operate different types of equipment is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Require steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
