Overview

We are looking for experienced Lead Technicians who are ready to take charge of large-scale CAT5/CAT6 cabling projects in commercial environments. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee structured cabling teams, drive quality, and serve as the go-to contact on-site. Responsibilities
  • Lead structured cabling projects (CAT5, CAT6) with full ownership of quality and compliance (BICSI, TIA/EIA).
  • Supervise and mentor field technicians—sharing knowledge, best practices, and safety-first leadership.
  • Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber network cabling using industry-standard tools (Fluke testers, etc.).
  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to keep projects on time and within scope.
  • Review blueprints/schematics, plan installations, and ensure professional routing, dressing, and documentation.
  • Maintain a safe job site while upholding OSHA and company safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of structured cabling experience (CAT5/CAT6) in large commercial settings.
  • Proven leadership experience guiding and managing installation teams.
  • Strong technical skills in cable termination, testing, troubleshooting, and QC.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and work both independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Willing and able to travel nationwide (100% travel required).
Preferred
  • BICSI certification (Installer, Technician, or RCDD).
  • Experience with fiber optic installation/termination.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification.
  • Experience on enterprise-level deployments.
