Job Title: Chemical Delivery Specialist (CDL required)

Department: Operations

Location: Cheyenne WY

Remote Status: Onsite

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly. "Home every night". Overtime is available and expected.

Certifications/Licenses: Class B CDL with tanker, hazmat, and airbrake endorsements required. Class A CDL preferred.

Job Summary

Provide chemical treatments to oilfield well sites according to customer specifications and company processes. Clean driving record required. Must be able to work at a fast pace while keeping safety as a top priority.

Essential Duties – Other Duties As Assigned
  • Properly load and unload trucks
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
  • Deliver chemicals and treat wells in a timely manner, as scheduled
  • Treat wells to prevent corrosion, scale build up, etc.
  • Accurately complete bills of lading (BOLs) and other reports according to company policy
  • Maintain accurate inventory reports according to company policy
  • Timely completion of reports and documentation
  • Maintain driver’s logs according to DOT regulations
  • Follow all SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Work well both independently and as a team
  • Provide excellent customer service
Other Qualifications

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma/GED and chemical deliveries experience preferred. 1+ years in oil and gas industry required.

Physical Requirements

Lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Pull and drag hoses in outdoor environments, including adverse weather. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, standing, crouching, kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin.

Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Work Environment

Indoors and outdoors with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme winter weather, precipitation, and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases on a daily basis. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the Williston Basin. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.

Language Skills

Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manual. English language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending.

Computer Skills

Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, electronic timesheets, MS Office, and programs such as One Note for recording daily deliveries. Must possess a smartphone with internet access.

Work Ethic

Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service. Follow policies and procedures and take responsibility for your actions.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and background check.
