Concrete Mixer Driver - Cheyenne, WY

Responsibilities
  • Operate a mixer truck (training provided) and comply with all traffic laws.
  • Maintain a DOT medical card and required endorsements.
  • Pass a Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screen and remain substance free.
  • Work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Perform daily truck inspections and report needed repairs.
  • Transport material to designated locations safely and in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
  • Follow work assignment instructions and orders from a supervisor.
  • Manage machine or equipment operations, such as starting, stopping, steering, and guiding to control movements, observably monitor gauges and dials, estimate distances, and determine speed and direction.
  • Occasionally lift 20–50 lbs, frequently lift 10–25 lbs, and constantly lift up to 10 lbs.
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B (straight truck) license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Maintain a DOT medical card and required endorsements.
  • Pass a Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screen and remain substance free.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor with strong communication skills.
  • Capable of daily truck inspections and reporting needed repairs.
  • Experience transporting material to designated locations safely and promptly.
  • Follow work assignment instructions and supervise orders.
  • Proficient in operating machine or equipment, including starting, stopping, steering, guiding, and monitoring gauges.
  • Physical ability to lift 20–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
