Nicholson Construction, a Chicago-based geotechnical specialty contractor, seeks an experienced estimator to prepare portions of estimates for specialty foundation techniques and read project plans and specs to determine scope of work.
Responsibilities include reviewing proposals and drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, inputting data into estimating software (HCSS Heavy Bid), coordinating with vendors, and ensuring accurate, timely bids for challenging highway and industrial projects.
