Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role & responsibilities Daily Operations

• Manage bank account setup and maintenance in Great Plains (GP) and Rapport.
• Post GP batches and subsidy batches accurately and within established timelines.
• Process direct debit transactions, upload direct debit files, and manage dishonour postings in IL and GP systems.
• Perform automated and manual cash application and matching activities for designated customer and suspense accounts.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched receipts, reconciling items, and suspense account balances.
• Prepare and complete daily bank reconciliations for DLL Australia, DLL Commercial Finance, DLL New Zealand, AGCO Australia, AGCO Commercial Finance, and AGCO New Zealand entities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve payment allocation and reconciliation exceptions.

Weekly Responsibilities

• Review outstanding reconciling items and aged unreconciled transactions.
• Monitor effectiveness of auto-matching processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support compliance, audit, and operational control requirements.

Monthly Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance reconciliations and resolve identified variances.
• Process maintenance payments in accordance with approval and control requirements.
• Prepare supporting schedules, documentation, and reports for month-end close activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in Bank Reconciliation, Cash Application, Accounts Receivable, Treasury Operations, or Financial Operations.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP).
• Experience in multi-entity bank reconciliation and transaction matching.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reconciliation processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reconciliation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, equipment finance, leasing, banking, or shared service environments.
• Exposure to direct debit processing, payment administration, and banking platforms such as Rapport.
• Experience managing suspense accounts and resolving complex reconciliation exceptions.
• Knowledge of month-end close processes and audit requirements.
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.

Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, or other reporting and analytics tools is advantageous.
