Our client, a Mortgage Asset Management firm, specializing in purchasing residential mortgages within the secondary market, is looking for a Sales Associate to expand their Non-QM Correspondent business.
This role is fully remote in the US.
Responsibilities:- Develop relationships with mortgage originators that could be a fit for the firm’s Non-QM Correspondent Channel
- Lead the sales process from sourcing to close of new business
- Leverage previous relationships in order to expand the firm’s acquisition strategy for Non-QM whole loans
- Work through financial statements, lender documentation, and ad hoc reports, and share pipeline data with leadership
- 2+ years of experience in sales for Non-Agency lending (Non-QM)
- Strong experience in working with non-delegated correspondents
- Experience in mortgage wholesale, capital markets, business development, product development, or similar areas in secondary market mortgage finance
- Experience presenting to senior leadership and senior stakeholders/clientele
