Hospitality Sales Manager

The SALES MANAGER will generate guestroom and F&B revenue through group and Business Travel account bookings in designated market segments. Maximize revenue profitability using proactive sales activities in accordance with established brand standards.

• Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly sales goals and profit margins
• Work with Cvent leads to generating Group Bookings
• Work with Lanyon for Business Travel RFP’s
• Prospects and solicits corporate markets to generate new catering/group business to ensure monthly booking goals are achieved
• Manage all account details through the group sales process, including effective turnover to the Catering/Event Services team for final arrangements
• Maintain an active list of accounts to ensure continuous relationship development (Business Travel Negotiated accounts)
• Oversee contract renewals for group business and BT accounts.
• Communicate with internal business partners on upcoming group needs, VIP clients, reservations.
• Maintain and secure repeat business through client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends in market, particularly amongst competitor set.
• Maintains regular attendance and is consistently on time.
• Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
• Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor.
• Actively engage in the local community to generate new contacts for the Club
• This role does not require travel
• Knowledge of Cvent, Delphi and Social tables in preferred

2+ years of hotel or industry related experience

Proven performance achieving assigned sales productivity goals

Demonstrated experience with industry specific sales programs such as Delphi. Travel Click business intelligence tools, Cvent and Lanyon
