An award-winning, high-end construction company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of projects and assist with the financial management across the build lifecycle, including:
Assisting with project cost control from initial estimates through to final accounts Working closely with architects, engineers and contractors to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Supporting the preparation and evaluation of tenders, contracts and variations Providing cost advice and contributing to value engineering exercises Maintaining accurate cost reports and financial records Supporting professional and positive client interactions Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

Experience with in high-end or high-spec residential construction (or a strong interest in this sector) Good understanding of Quantity Surveying principles, cost management and budgeting Knowledge of construction methods and building regulations Exposure to contract administration and project cost control Strong communication and negotiation skills A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Competence using construction or estimating software A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline Quantity Surveyor Skills Criteria:
Cost estimation and budget control Supplier and subcontractor management Commercial awareness and analytical thinking Clear communication and stakeholder engagement Team collaboration Software proficiency (construction and project management tools) Whats on
