. The role offers a competitive hourly salary of £26.85 - £41.87.

This flexible bank position allows you to deliver GCSE Maths and Functional Skills to a diverse learner base. You will schedule assignments at your convenience, supporting students to develop essential maths skills.

• Design and deliver lessons, ensuring learning materials and assessments are ready and assessment tasks complete on time.
• Administer student and teaching reports, maintaining accurate statistics.
• Contribute to curriculum development, prioritising literacy, numeracy, equality and diversity.
• Safeguard student welfare and keep up-to-date with sector policy changes.
• Participate in meetings and training, supporting colleague development.
• Support literacy and numeracy initiatives.

• Relevant experience teaching GCSE/Functional Skills maths.
• Understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups.
• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. Certificate in Education, PGCE, Level 5 Diploma in Teaching).
• Strong time‑management, organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Innovative and creative approach to meeting learners’ needs.
