Supply Desk are seeking an experienced Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant for a Year 3 class in Midhurst

Pay: £85-£92

Hours: 08:00 - 15:30

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant seeking a new role? Do you have experience working with children in an educational environment? Would you like to make a huge difference to the beginning of a child’s school life?

This is in a school which is a “Good” school in the Midhurst area. The class has a high percentage of SEND children and would need someone that can support with empathy, patience and resilience. A knowledge of the KS1 curriculum would be advantageous. This is a rural school and the ability to drive is essential.

• Smaller than average with some mixed classes and some 1 form entry classes
• A real focus of community links and forging supportive relationships with parents and carers
• Children feel seen, heard and recognised for their uniqueness
• A close knit and supportive team and SLT
• Ofsted recognised “Good” school

• Working within a Year 3 class
• Working with a high percentage of SEND such as Autism, SEMH and ADHD
• Supporting whole class with Guided Reading, Maths and English, phonics and general classroom support
