Overview
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a motivated and flexible Cover Supervisor to join a well-respected secondary school in Selsey, Chichester. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who are keen to gain valuable classroom experience or are considering a future career in teaching.
Responsibilities- Supervise classes of students aged 11–16 during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues smoothly and effectively.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
- Provide additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) when required.
- Experience working with secondary-aged pupils, including exposure to SEN, is preferred.
- Confident and adaptable in a classroom setting with strong communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for supporting their educational development.
This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a daily pay between £95 and £130. You will be joining a welcoming and supportive school community, with opportunities for professional development and ongoing guidance from Teaching Personnel’s experienced recruitment team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
