We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known UKAS accredited consultancy. They are seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant to cover a range of commercial, industrial, and domestic contracts in the South Central / coastal region. The successful candidate will conduct the full range of asbestos surveys and provide a thorough consultancy service to clients, advising on found risks and recommendations.

Chichester, Bognor Regis, Worthing, Horsham, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Waterlooville, Havant, Godlaming, Bordon, Portsmouth, Alton, Wigeley, Hythe, Southampton, Gosport, Winchester, Farnham, Basing stone, Andover, Eastleigh, Hook, Fleet, Farnborough, Southwater, Billingshurst, Littlehampton.

• Experience undertaking asbestos surveys (management, refurbishment, and demolition)
• Hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Robust technical knowledge (e.g., UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines)
• Strong communication skills
• Good core literacy and numeracy skills
• IT literate
• Interested in candidates with p401/p402/p403/p404 or s301 CCP qualifications

• Undertake the full range of asbestos surveys across a mixed portfolio of client sites
• Safely collect ACM samples from sites
• Produce detailed survey reports with accompanying schematic drawings
• Meet with clients to report on findings and provide technical recommendations
• Liaise with clients to gain site access
• Maintain strong relationships with clients
• Travel in line with company requirements
