This is a full-time on‑site role for an Engineer - Industrial Automation, based in Chichester. The primary responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing control systems, PLC programming, and integrating automation systems for manufacturing and industrial machinery. The role involves conducting process improvements, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all automation solutions meet safety and compliance regulations.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering
- Strong Analytical Skills and Process Improvement abilities
- Effective Communication skills for collaboration and reporting
- Experience in working with SCADA, PLC, HMI, and other automation systems
- Knowledge of major automation product lines such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB, or similar
- Ability to work within highly controlled environments and comply with relevant industry standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Experience in life sciences, advanced material manufacturing, or energy sectors is a plus
