IT Field Technician

📍 Chichester – Field-based within the local area
💷 £24,000 – £28,000 DOE
🕒 Monday to Friday | 8am – 4pm

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver friendly first-line and some second-line IT support across multiple school sites

* Set up and configure devices, user accounts, and passwords

* Support and maintain hardware including laptops, printers, projectors, and basic network equipment

* Log, update, and manage IT support tickets through the helpdesk system

* Assist with system updates and software rollouts

* Work closely with fellow technicians to ensure systems run smoothly

* Support staff and students with day-to-day IT queries

* Always work in line with health & safety and data protection requirements

About You

* At least 6 months’ IT experience or relevant training

* Confident with basic IT support tasks such as device setup and password resets

* Eager to learn and develop skills in networks, hardware, and cloud-based systems

* Friendly, patient, and confident when supporting non-technical users

* Well organised, dependable, and comfortable travelling between school sites

* Familiar with Google Workspace and Windows environments

* Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle (essential)
