Are you passionate about great coffee and creating memorable guest experiences? We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista / Front of House Assistant to join the 24 team at the Café within the Goodwood Art Foundation.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, creative environment and enjoys delivering exceptional service with genuine warmth.

As a Barista, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy high‑quality beverages and friendly, efficient service. You’ll be confident operating coffee equipment, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and supporting the wider café team.

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and speciality beverages
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment confidently
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments
• Maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic coffee bar and work area
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
• Restock supplies and support with inventory as needed
• Provide warm, attentive customer service and respond to guest inquiries
• Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards

• Previous barista experience (refresher training available)
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso-based drinks
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Positive, friendly attitude with a genuine “can‑do” approach
• Proactive and able to take responsibility for your work
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

• A passion for creating amazing customer experiences
• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within hospitality
• A team‑focused mindset and willingness to get stuck in wherever needed
