Repair Technician

The Repair Technician will be responsible for carrying out and maintaining a consistent throughput of technical repairs on lighting and associated equipment.

• Fault find issues on a range of electrical and electronic equipment including some three‑phase appliances.
• Undertake electrical/electronic, mechanical repairs on a variety of equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Prepare equipment to be sent to external suppliers for repair.
• Perform broad testing of completed repairs (including PAT) before managing the return to stock.
• Work with the inventory team to ensure stock repair supplies are maintained at appropriate levels.
• Process and help support repairs administrator with costs of repairs when required.
• Understand the priorities of the incoming repair stock and decide on the most cost‑efficient repair options.

• Prior electrical, electronic or mechanical repairs experience.
• IT literacy with a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Confidently communicate with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues.
• Self‑motivated and organised with the ability to plan workload and keep track of multiple jobs.
• Experience in electrical repairs including three‑phase would be an advantage, however not essential.
