Are you an experienced Data Engineer looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in healthcare?

At University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and maintaining the Trust's data infrastructure, supporting the delivery of high-quality information and reporting solutions that underpin patient care, operational performance, and strategic decision-making.

Working closely with the Data Engineering Manager and Heads of Service, you will design, develop and support robust data warehouse solutions, data integrations, reporting systems and bespoke applications across one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, test and maintain data warehouse and reporting solutions.
• Build and support complex data integrations, interfaces and information flows.
• Develop solutions using Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS and related development tools.
• Support strategic digital transformation projects across the Trust.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
