* What is a Cover Supervisor?

Cover Supervisors are essential members of school staff who step in when teachers are absent. You’ll be managing a classroom, delivering pre-set lessons, and ensuring that students stay focused and productive.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Supervising classes across a range of subjects using materials provided by teaching staff.

* Maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment.

* Helping students stay engaged with their work and offering guidance where needed.

* Recording attendance and reporting any issues to the appropriate staff.

* Occasionally supporting departments or form groups depending on school needs.

We’re Looking For:

* Strong communication skills and confidence managing groups of students.

* A calm, professional approach with good organisational abilities.

* Adaptability to work in different schools and settings.

* A genuine interest in education and helping young people succeed.

Experience working in schools is helpful but not essential, we welcome applications from recent graduates, teaching assistants, youth workers, or anyone considering a future in education.
