Join our compassionate team as a Part-Time or PRN In-Home CNA/HHA serving clients in Chickasha, Blanchard, Anadarko, Duncan, Lawton, Lindsay, and surrounding areas. In this rewarding role, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one care that helps seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. Responsibilities- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers (including Hoyer lifts when needed).
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration according to the care plan.
- Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Monitor clients for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to the office.
- Observe and document vital signs when required.
- Provide compassionate care for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other cognitive impairments.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishes, sweeping and mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, organizing living areas.
- Accurately document services provided and complete required visit documentation.
- Assist clients with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain strict client confidentiality.
- CNA/HHA Certification is Required
- Previous experience in home health, home care, assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or other caregiving settings is preferred.
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is Highly preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist clients using mobility equipment when necessary.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass required background checks.
