Job Description Overview

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team, specializing in steel fabrication and welding
. The ideal candidate will perform welding operations on steel components, ensuring strong, precise welds according to blueprints and specifications.

• Perform MIG welding on steel parts, assemblies, and structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols for steel projects.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment, including wire feed, shielding gas, and consumables.
• Follow safety protocols for steel welding, including PPE use and proper ventilation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project goals.
• Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.

• Proven experience welding steel using MIG techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols specific to steel projects.
• Knowledge of steel types, welding consumables, and proper techniques.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred.

• Ability to lift and maneuver steel components (up to [insert weight] lbs).
• Standing, bending, and working in confined or elevated spaces as needed.
• Exposure to sparks, heat, and fumes with proper PPE.

• Experience with TIG or Stick welding on steel is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
