1. This role is committed to producing original, unbiased, high‑quality local news across TV, connected television, digital platforms, and the Spectrum News mobile app.

$75,000.00/yr – $/yr.

As a Multimedia Journalist, you’ll own the storytelling process—from pitching and writing to shooting, interviewing, and editing. You’ll work flexibly to meet deadlines and connect with your community by uncovering stories that matter.

• Connecting with neighbors while digging into local issues.

• Experience:
  
  Print or Television news reporting – 3+ years.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent television work experience.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to shoot video, knowledge of video editing software, and effective use of social media.
• Skills:
  
  Strong on‑camera presence, excellent written and verbal communication.
• Abilities:
  Curiosity, urgency for compelling stories, ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Travel:
  Willingness to travel within the neighborhood and engage with the community.
• Schedule:
  
  Ability to work under tight deadlines, shift work, weekends, holidays, and extended hours for breaking news.
• Valid driver’s license for authorized driving in the state of residence.

• Work inside a climate‑controlled environment and outdoors year‑round, possibly in extreme heat or cold.
