Assistant Professor in Psychology/School Psychology

The University is seeking a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department, with a focus on School Psychology. The position starts in Fall 2026 and offers a salary commensurate with education and experience (anticipated hiring range: $74,652 - $89,772 per year).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A doctorate degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
  • If the doctorate is not in school psychology, an Education Specialist or equivalent degree from a NASP accredited/approved School Psychology program is required.
  • CA credentialing/licensing, or intention to obtain it, as a School Psychologist, Psychologist, or Licensed Educational Psychologist.
  • Experience in undergraduate and/or graduate instruction.
  • A record of research and/or scholarly activities.

Responsibilities:

This tenure-track position carries responsibilities in teaching, scholarship, and service. The successful candidate will teach primarily graduate courses, supervise graduate practicum students and interns, develop a successful program of research or scholarly activity, and support the administrative and advising needs of the School Psychology program.
