Swim Instructor
Overview
We are looking for:
College Students, Post Grads, SAHM/SAHD looking for part-time work, Nannies, and Preschool teachers. Imagine being a child's first teacher, and helping prepare them for a lifetime of fun. Love them first and then teach them to swim. We are looking for highly energetic people to work with babies and small children teaching swim lessons. Swim teaching experience is not necessary, but knowing how to swim is important.
We are interested in your ability to lead a classroom and lovingly interact with children. You must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and be trained in our curriculum. A swim instructor must be smiling, patient, loving, caring and compassionate. This is a high energy job that demands focus and being in the moment with your students.
We will train you. Our pool is warm (90 degrees!) and indoors. Instructors typically work between 10 and 30 hours per week. This is a year round position, not a seasonal job. Please e-mail your resumes and availability. If we are interested in an interview, we will respond. We require teachers to maintain a current first aid/CPR certification and a clean background check.
