When you join DaVita as a PCT, you will receive paid, extensive training and then work alongside nurses, dietitians, social workers and experienced PCTs to care for patients.

• No dialysis experience is required.
• Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
• Potential to float to various clinics during and after your training.
• You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Direct patient care one-on-one to provide safe, comfortable, hygienic dialysis treatment.
• PCTs care for multiple patients.
• Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Exposure to blood and needles.
• Build long-term relationships and educate patients on kidney dialysis topics.
• Work under the supervision of a RN within a cross‑functional team of clinicians.

• Desire to enter the health care field to care for others in need.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable working around blood and needles.
• Comfortable mixing acid or bicarbonate.
• Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet.
• Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
• Health care experience a plus (BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician, CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy certification).

Wage range: $24.00 – $32.00/hour.
