Position Title
Shipping and Receiving Technician
Hours6:30am – 3pm M-F, w/OT daily at times, as well as Weekends per business need

Key Responsibilities- Receive and verify incoming raw materials and finished goods from approved vendors and the manufacturing floor, ensuring all Bills of Lading (BOLs) and vendor documentation meet quality and compliance standards.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Stage and deliver raw materials for daily production in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, ensuring materials meet production requirements.
- Operate finished goods palletizers and transfer packaged product to designated warehouse storage or staging areas.
- Pull and prepare orders from pick lists accurately and efficiently to meet customer and production schedules.
- Rotate all raw materials and finished goods inventory according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Maintain accurate written and electronic records of all material movements, quality checks, process data, deviations, and downtime.
- Apply continuous improvement principles to all work processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Perform or assist in minor equipment maintenance and cleaning to support optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety protocols, and applicable government regulations, including GMP and food safety standards.
- Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team to achieve operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager or Team Leader.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
Required Qualifications- Valid Forklift Certification with a minimum of 3+ years of experience; double forklift experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to stack pallets up to four high safely and efficiently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using computers for automation control and standard business applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and email).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or related inventory control software.
