** Exciting Opportunity: RN Charge Nurse - Perioperative OR** Join our dynamic team as a Charge Nurse in the Perioperative OR! This key position offers the chance to lead and support your colleagues while providing exceptional patient care. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for perioperative nursing, this role is perfect for you!
** Responsibilities:** - Operate the charge desk during the week and some weekends - Facilitate efficient patient flow and ensure optimal utilization of resources - Collaborate with the surgical team to provide top-notch patient care - Mentor and support nursing staff within the perioperative setting
** Education / Training /
Experience:
** - Minimum:
- One year of current experience as a perioperative charge nurse or relief charge nurse - Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field - Two or more years of critical care experience
** Licenses /
Certifications:
** - Minimum:
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing - Current CPR certification - Current ACLS certification - Desired:
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
** Shift Information:** - 8-hour shifts, Days, starting at 0630
** Minimum Years of
Experience:
** - 1 year
** Certifications/Requirements:** - ACLS - BLS/BCLS
